I bought this to accompany our van of 6 on a 2-day road trip up to Michigan. I liked that it was narrower than our previous one, so I could fit it in between my passenger seat and the bucket seat behind me (my 2yo doesn't need the leg space). It kept things just as cold as a fridge would for our 8 hours of travel each day. The handles seem sturdy and it was simple to clean after our trip. And I nearly filled our hotel mini fridge with the items I fit inside this thing, so it really is like taking a mini fridge with ya in the car! I'd buy it again!Not the bag’s fault, but so large that when used for food or grocery transport you almost need a dolly. I passed it along to a traveling friend who had a ways to go with her Trader Joe purchases.I have had one of these cooler bags for about four years now. It is starting to get a bit worn on the inside because I use it all the time! I ordered two more and love them just as much. They now have different sizes too. I have a smaller one I use for a “pool bag” to keep bottles of water and fruit snacks cool in the blazing sun. I add re-freezeable ice packs and things stay cold! Great for having cold groceries home or keeping sandwiches and snacks safely chilled while on road trips. Perfect for trips to the farmers market too! Love the shoulder strap on larger size. It not only looks great, but it is also extremely spacious and made of incredibly high quality materials. If you are in need of a tote to keep your items cold, this is definitely the tote to buy!Perfect! I leave it in my car for groceries or little unexpected stops when out and about.I've gotten these for all my kids and they use them constantly.I love the size of this bag and it's sturdy, good quality material and very cute. It holds a lot of stuff. My first use was at the beach for our water bottles and snacks so I threw a bag of ice in there too. Well it does leak when the ice melts so the bottom of the outside was wet. I tried it again with a plastic bag of ice when we went to the lake and same thing. So now I just use ice packs and that has solved the problem. I keep this bag in the trunk of my car and use for groceries when I plan to be out on the town for several hours and it has worked great to keep the food cool enough. It has a piece of Velcro on the bottom so the bag doesn't fall over when it's in my trunk. I liked it enough to purchased some more as gifts.UPDATE: I really wanted to love this bag but now after barely 2 months the lining is ripped. Very disappointing because I love the idea of this and I bought more as gifts so now I hope the same thing doesn't happen to the ones I gifted them to! I expected better quality from Rachel Ray.Gave to son & wife so they could use at Costco, very large.We always take a cooler bag on vacation to have as an extra carry on bag for purchases. It doubles as our beverage cooler in hotel rooms without fridges. Just fill it up with ice, add your wine, beer, coke, water, etc. It's leak-proof, sturdy, and can double as a reusable shopping or beach bag if needed.My only complaint and the reason for the score reduction is the price felt a tiny bit high. If i could give 4.5 stars that would be an appropriate score.I love this cooler bag! It is slightly smaller than the Costco cooler bag, but I find that food stays cold better with this bag when it is being transported for 2-3 hours in the bag with an ice pack. When bringing food home from the grocery store items (15 minute drive) frozen foods remain frozen. I was replacing an older bag that was exactly the same and had lasted years. Needed a large capacity bag for taking weekend supplies to cottage. We use the bag almost every weekend and it has held up well, even with some pretty heavy loads. It is tough and well constructed, yet folds down flat and compactI use it every day, especially now in the summer, the size is good and I like that it folds up really niceso it's easy to put away. Keeps the products cold like it's supposed to do.
