Many of the reviews of this product (Shopping Cart with Wheels 50L Large Capacity Wheeled Shopping Cart Folding with 8 Wheels) mention about the inability to go up stairs. I only need to go up one/two stairs and the cool 3-way wheels work great!My review concentrates on the fact that the cart fits all of my groceries so that I don't have to fumble with them, taking them up to my condo unit. The wheels are very sturdy too. Most important, it looks much more stylish than your grandma's shopping cart. :)I fill the shopping cart by putting 2 full reusable bags, side by side, as a base at the bottom of the cart. Then I put any other stuff above those 2 bags. I have also covered up the blue inner bag before putting other stuff (like a box) on top. Then I just grab the handle and off I go! Oh - one more thing - I don't use the handle to pull it, just grab onto the bar instead.I haven't yet figured out how to release the shopping cart portion to use it as a "regular" cart, but thankfully, I haven't had the need yet. I certainly don't want to break it.It doesn't collapse down as flat as I'd like, but it is OK.All in all - a nice product and it does what I need it to do.I gave this cart only 4 stars because there are no assembly instructions although I figured it out anyway. Also there was only one blue hanger hook included with my cart so I'm not sure if that will affect the bungee cord use. I am moving into a new apartment so I hope this cart will come in handy for that and for getting groceries and purchases from my car to the building once I'm moved in.I have an update. I have been using the cart and like it very much. It is very convenient to life the basket part up and carry boxes on the flat bottom rack, strapped on the upper part.ETA: after attempting to use this cart several times I finally decided to return it. It just doesn't work for my purposes.This size is small enough to go down household stairs but if there is a door at either end then it is much more complicated. it does travel both up and down on stairs, but you have to be at the front of the basket pulling on the handle. they advertise the extra handle length for men because they are taller. I am only 5'6" and I depend on the extra handle length because I have to pull the basket behind me on the stairs. it's the only way it can go upstairs.As for size and ability to move items from one floor to another. It is a good size if you shop every week for limited items. I usually shop for a full month so the basket was not practical for me to think it would be useful. There is a weight limit on it but i don't think I could ever reach that limit because the basket is small. I tried to bring groceries into a downstairs living area in a personal home where a door separates one area from another. I was forced to take items out of the bags so that I could pack items into the cart. It helped me to get items down that needed refrigeration, etc. I had to make several trips so I don't think the basket was really a benefit.Part of the cart folds up to allow use as a small dolly for moving boxes. This is probably where the cart will prove most useful. From time to time I ship boxes for charity. I already have a dolly, but this cart will give me a smoother ride up the stairs. Using the elastic strap on the handles and other places designed into the cart the boxes should be less likely to fall off as they have when using other devices.The price wasn't cheap so I would be inclined to return it, but having used it the tires are scuffed and I'm uncertain whether or not it would be accepted for return.1. It doesn't hold a lot of weight but I couldn't handle it if it did.2. It is narrow which makes it an advantage for household use. But it's too wide on residential stairs is you have to move around it to open a door at either end of the stairs3. it will move small items from a minor shopping trip but can't handle large items or large quantities of smaller items.4. while being set up in the dolly configuration there are places designed to hold the elastic strap provided to make it easier and safer to move boxes either up or down stairsThe size and weight of the cart are very easy to work with. The main issues areIt doesn't fold very flat, especiallywith the bag in it. About 5-6 inches thick is the best it will compact, making it very bulky to store.The wheels have no brake, so it is impossible to store behind a door when upright. It rolls and door doesn't stay open. A small disaster ensues because the only other place it fits is under the bed.The bag.....is at best pretty useless. The cheap knockoff velcro tabs don't stay put, so the bag always folds in on itself. If you store anything the least bit weighty in the back pocket the whole bag rips loose and tries to follow.If you expect the wheels to turn in a small radius it is near impossible because the back tri wheels can't follow.Going upstairs? BRILLIANT.The cart itself is plenty sturdy.What this company needs to do is add wheel locks, improve bag attachments, preferably create two bags, one for the liner and one for the back of the cart, and angle the steering one way or the other. It is straight up 90 degree angle and that makes it awkward and uncomfortable to push or pull loaded.This cart gets 3 stars. Back to the drawing board, boys and girls.I bought this cart, I tried to cancel it because I thought it might be pricey for what it is. It came yesterday anyway, so I decided to try it today at the grocery store. I love it, it is so lightweight and easy to use. It glides easily and the stair climbing feature is really great! I'm so glad I kept it, I have a different one that is very heavy, this is perfect.I am 79 yrs old and put this together easily. Their directions really don't gell. But if your handy anyone can do it. I bought this for laundry and bringing groceries up to the second floor. I haven't used it as yet, but I did buy the smaller one, it was fine just too small for me. I have to admit I purchased a different one and it was not good, bent and rusty. So am returning that one. I think it must have been dropped as the box was opened and retaped. That is not the case with this one. Delivered with care.I will update if I have problems on this one at a later time.It looks sturdy. Lots of people make comments about it. I hope the wheels hold up for several years.The cart could be bigger.io gave away to the kids to play withVery flimsy.
